What was your first job as a journalist?
I worked as a news reporter on political and crime beat for a YouTube channel ( INSIDER LIVE ).

Social media spreads news faster, creates misinformation risks, empowers citizen journalism, and challenges traditional media's credibility.

I don’t have a favorite fictional journalist, but I admire real-life journalists who tackle political and social issues fearlessly.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Being a journalist means seeking truth, reporting facts, questioning power, giving voice to people, and keeping society informed with honesty and integrity.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I prefer well researched pitches with clear facts, strong sources, and political or social issues, sent via email."
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use MS Word, WordPress, Google Docs, Canva, Google Sheet, social media, and news websites for research and writing.
What's your favorite social network?
My favorite social network is Twitter(X), as it is for quick updates, following news, and engaging with real time conversation.

Why did you become a journalist?
I became a journalist to raise important issues, and give a voice to people who need justice and chasing my dream of being on TV.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yes, I worked for my high school newspaper as a reporter, covering events and writing articles on social issues.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am proud of stories that uncover the truth, challenge injustice, and give a voice to those who are unheard.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Stay curious, verify facts, be fearless, listen to people, report truth, avoid bias, and always uphold ethics in journalism.
When's the best time to pitch you?
You can pitch me anytime, but I prefer mornings or early afternoons when I can review and plan my coverage effectively.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
The best pitch I ever got was a deep dive into a social issue, uncovering untold stories and real impact.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
The worst pitch I got was a biased political story on Delhi Assembly Election with no facts, trying to push a personal agenda.
What's your favorite drink?
Cold Coffee is my one of the favorite drink.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
You'll probably find me walking in the park, or just exploring the streets. I like to find inspiration from real life moments.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
Hindustan Times one of the Prominent Newspaper in India is my favorite publication to read.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
The largest misconception is that we only cover events; nevertheless, true journalism goes below the surface to reveal hidden facts and hold those in positions of authority responsible.
