What was your first job as a journalist?
My first paid job as a journalist was as an intern in Bloomberg News's London bureau, but I had been doing unpaid work throughout university.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Nope, and thankfully so -- I would probably make a whole bunch of spelling mistakes.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter -- it's like reading a newswire, populated with articles I'm interested in and stories I would want to share.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Keep plugging away -- it is incredibly tough and demanding to make it in the news business, but once you get in, it is immensely rewarding.
