Discussion in 'Classic Boxing Forum' started by Tyson 2005, . Just a quick personal anaylisis on the fight, I wanna get you're take on it To me, Tyson Botha was one of Mike's greatest fights. Botha, a hard headed, South African beast, dubbed "The White Buffalo" (45-4-2). Goes up against IRON Mike Tyson(50-6-0), a fierce tiger, with no remorse what so ever. The battle goes 5 rounds and Mike knocks Botha out for the win.

He also gave a prime Roy Jones a highly competitive fight, has never looked bad against anyone in the last 15 years or so, and only lost in close battles with Taylor. Sadly you couldn't be more wrong. Bowe had often blown up between fights and then had to drop weight quick to get into shape. The Holyfield fight in '93, where he came in at 246? He started training camp at 280, despite having been 244 when fighting Jesse Ferguson in May '93.
