Christopher McGinley reviews Double Crossed, the latest installment of Ronan McCullough series. Double Crossed (Rough Edge, 2024) is the newest installment in Eliot Parker’s much vaunted Ronan McCullough series, the sequel to Fragile Brilliance. Chris McGinley takes a closer look at the new true crime book Sonny: The Last of the Old Time Mafia Bosses, John “Sonny” Franzese by S. J. Peddie. There’s a telling passage in S.J. Peddie’s new book about longtime mobster, John “Sonny” Franzese: Always an active earner, Sonny continued to branch out in business. He kept up a frenetic pace and expanded seemingly everywhere.
