PyQgis: Processing algorithm load output raster
I am writing a standalone processing algorithm with pyqgis. The intention of the script is to create an offline basemap that is created only within the extents of objects of one layer. Therefore I am using the native:rasterize tool in a for loop to create the list rasters of temporary rasters. This list is eventually used in gdal:merge to be merged together to one raster. The script runs smoothly until the final step of loading the final raster back to the QGIS project or save it.
Headless QGIS in docker
I have a custom processing script that basically gets a bunch of information from an API and prints a PDF layout. The script works, and I can get outputs from it on my local Docker environment. However, when this is running in the cloud, it does not work, with the process hanging forever. This process is called using subprocess because my application runs in a virtualenv, and QGIS is installed in docker outside of this virtualenv.
Run standalone pyqgis script with processing algorithms from external plugins
Some of the external qgis plugins contain processing algorithms integrated by the processing toolbox after installation, e.g. the plugin "Shape Tools". How can the processing algorithms from external plugins be run from pyqgis standalone scripts?
Running PyQGIS processing algorithms within FME PythonCaller
Using FME Form 2024.1.2 and QGIS 3.34.4 with Python 3.9 the following script: import fme import fmeobjects import sys from qgis.core import QgsApplication, QgsVectorLayer, QgsProcessingFeedback class FeatureProcessor(object): """Template Class Interface: When using this class, make sure its name is set as the value of the 'Class to Process Features' transformer parameter.
Running SAGA Next Gen algorithms in QGIS standalone script
Does anybody know how to run SAGA Next Gen algorithms in a standalone script? It was possible in QGIS 3.28 when the SAGA provider was a core plugin.

Output file not generated using r.viewshed with PyQGIS
I'm trying to use r.viewshed in PyQGIS to perform Viewshed analysis on a point placed on a raster layer. The algorithm seems to run correctly, as no errors come up, but the output .tif file is not created, and I've tried it using multiple different locations, using absolute and relative paths, both with no luck. Here is a snippet of my python code below. rasterLayer is the QgisRasterLayer object, the main raster of the project for the viewshed to be done upon.
Empty Output from Clip Algorithm in QGIS Standalone Processing
Closed. This question is off-topic . It is not currently accepting answers. This problem cannot or can no longer be reproduced. Changes to the system or to the asker's circumstances may have rendered the question obsolete, or the question does not include a procedure to enable potential answerers to reproduce the same symptoms. Issue with QGIS Standalone Processing - Empty Output from Clip Algorithm
I am currently working on a QGIS standalone code in JupyterHub using Python, and I'm encountering an issue with the qgis:clip algorithm where the output layer is empty. This is my first time working with QGIS in this environment, and I'm seeking guidance on how to resolve this issue.
IDW processing not running as expected in standalone script
I'm trying to automate idw interpolations from my database using PyQGIS in a standalone script. I copied the python command from the GUI which is how I got the fields I am using for the algorithm.
Specifying categorical symbology in PyQGIS
I have a vector image that is set with a single symbology. I would like to update the file to categorical symbology based on either 1 or 0.
Run QGIS tool from standalone python keeps locks on files
Asked today Viewed 4 times I have a python application that runs some qgis processing tools. The tools are called in a loop and I am looking to clean up the tool outputs (shapefiles) in between each iteration. I have found that only a call to qgs.exitQgis() releases the locks on the shapefile (the output of the snap process). But if I try to do further processing or try to initialize qgis again, the python execution stops, no exception.
