Kernel-smoothed permutation for extreme P-value estimation in genetic association studies
Abstract In genetic studies, permutation tests serve as a cornerstone to estimate P-values. This is because researchers may design new test statistics without a known closed-form distribution, or the assumption of a well-established test may not hold. However, permutation tests require vast number of permutations which is proportional to the magnitude of the actual P-values.

Preparation and Properties of Benzocyclobutene Based Low-k Linear Polysiloxane
Preparation and Properties of Benzocyclobutene Based Low-k Linear Polysiloxane Qiuxia Peng, Huan Hu, Yueting Deng, Quan Long, Jiajun Ma and Junxiao Yang Abstract Most benzocyclobutene (BCB) resins require a thermal pre-polymerization process to achieve the desired viscosity for application. However, the process is difficult to control because it is time-consuming and requires high temperatures. Therefore, a mild and simple method for preparing BCB based polysiloxane is proposed herein.
