Rachael Barrett’s Biography
Rachael is passionate about helping problem solvers find the resources they need to fund their projects. Nonprofit or for profit, Rachael has the experience, hustle and strategic smarts to help you succeed.
Rachael has a 15 plus year track record of success as a development professional in the nonprofit sector and has worked at community-based organizations in New York and Connecticut. In addition to her expertise in institutional fundraising, she has experience in special events, strategic planning, fundraising planning and measurement and social media.
Rachael is a member of the American Association of Grant Professionals, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Women in Development, American Prospect Research Association and the American Evaluation Association. She serves as a board member on two New York City nonprofits, Good Shepherd Volunteers and Radio Diaries. Rachael also consults with small nonprofits on developing their strategic growth plans.
Rachael has a BS in Mass Communications from Emerson College and an MBA from the University of West Haven.
