I'm a freelance writer with an eye for food, local history, gender, and Southern culture. Before returning to the writing world, I worked as a bartender, cook, and restaurant manager for 12 years. I'm originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, and have just moved back to my hometown after almost a decade in Brooklyn.
