What was your first job as a journalist?

An editorial apprentice at Better Homes

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Google. I love all things in the Google portfolio. Also a big fan of SEMrush, Airtable, and the apple integrations from a phone laptop!

Why did you become a journalist?

Because I loved being my high school yearbook editor and it was the only major (I switched 5 times in undergrad) that I actually enjoyed!

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Learn everything you can. There's always room for growth!

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Toggling between 40 different tabs!
