Rachel Rodriguez’s Biography

I'm a digital and social media journalist currently based in London as a CNN senior producer. I’m in charge of everything social media for CNN International -- running our social feeds, acting as a consultant for both TV and digital on how to use social media, making sure we're on top of what's bubbling up, and sometimes producing or editing stories.

Before moving to London in 2014, I held similar roles at CNN in Atlanta for five years. And before that I studied history, political science, and information science at Duke University. I also interned at NPR and the Smithsonian Institution while at Duke.

Besides being a journalist, I’m a dancer, semi-professional violinist, yogi and lover of anything artsy. You can generally find me at a play, concert or art gallery, or stalking dogs in one of London’s many parks.
