The best revenge is becoming impossible to dismiss. You were counted out. Not once. Repeatedly. And you stayed quiet about it. You watched less qualified people move ahead. You absorbed the dismissals. You kept showing up anyway, wondering if you were the problem. You weren't. Being overlooked doesn't mean you were wrong. It means the room was too small for you. Something shifts when you stop waiting for the people who underestimated you to finally see you.
