Abstract Low night temperatures during the flowering stage in November–December significantly affect sorghum production in the semi-arid regions of India, particularly during critical growth phases. Temperature plays a critical role in sorghum flowering and grain yield, as low temperatures can delay flowering, reduce pollen viability, and result in poor seed set, ultimately lowering yield.
Abstract The present study evaluated the mortality of Helicoverpa armigera neonate larvae in laboratory bioassay on Bt (BG-II) cotton tissues (leaves, squares, flowers, and bolls) expressing Cry1Ac and Cry2Ab toxins, across phenological stages from three major cotton-growing zones of India (North, Central and South) under irrigated and rainfed conditions during 2018–2023.
