Bioengineered graphene–iron oxide nanocomposite and derived quantum dots as pro-angiogenic agents: potential therapeutic applications
Abstract The present study focuses on the conversion of a green-synthesized graphene–iron oxide nanocomposite into fluorescent quantum dots with enhanced optical properties. This was achieved by using Spirulina platensis crude extract to synthesize graphene-based quantum dots to enhance their biomedical performance. The synthesized quantum dots were biofunctionalized with naturally derived extracellular matrix proteins, namely collagen and fibrin.
Chelator-engineered nano-electroless copper coatings on epoxides: surface and electrochemical properties
Abstract This investigation explores the electroless deposition of copper nanoparticles onto epoxy substrates using glyoxylic acid as the reducing agent. The deposition process was conducted under alkaline conditions, with the pH precisely maintained at 11.0 ± 0.25 using potassium hydroxide. Two distinct methanesulphonate bath formulations were employed with glucose and fructose as chelators to enhance complexation efficiency.

Green Synthesis of Nickel Oxide Nanoparticles Using Leaf Extract of Aegle marmelos and Their Antibacterial, Anti‐Oxidant, and In Vitro Cytotoxicity Activity
Green synthesis of NiO nanoparticles using Aegle marmelos leaf extract as a reducing and capping agent. NiO nanoparticles were characterized by UV–vis, FTIR, XRD, SEM, and TEM analysis. The antibacterial activity of NiO nanoparticles was studied against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus mutans, and Bacillus subtilis. The in vitro cytotoxicity of the NiO nanoparticles was studied using MC3t3-E1 cell lines.

Recent Advances in PBAT (Nano) Composite Materials for Food Packaging: A Comprehensive Review
1 Introduction The production of plastic waste worldwide is estimated to reach 450 million tons annually, with this amount increasing rapidly over time. Unfortunately, a significant amount of plastic waste ends up in the atmosphere, causing environmental problems [1, 2]. In addition to being inexpensive, synthetic polymers are known for their excellent mechanical, barrier, and thermal properties, as well as their ease of manufacture.
