Validation of machine learning based scenario generators
1 INTRODUCTION Under Solvency 2, insurance companies are required to calculate a Solvency Capital Requirement, that is, the value-at-risk at the 99.5% level of their own funds over a 1-year horizon. This is usually done by generating suitable scenarios using an economic scenario generator (ESG) and taking the empirical 99.5% percentile of the loss. An introduction to ESGs from an actuarial point of view is for instance provided by Pedersen et al. (2016) or Varnell (2011).

Abstract Differences of sex development (DSD) comprise a heterogeneous group of conditions involving atypical chromosomal, gonadal, or anatomical sex. While genetic causes have been extensively studied, transcriptional programs underlying human gonadal differentiation remain poorly understood. In this study, we performed transcriptome profiling of gonadal tissue from 11 individuals with DSD and compared them to developmental stage-matched control samples from public datasets.

Women with complete androgen insensitivity syndrome (CAIS) after gonadectomy have complained about reduced psychological wellbeing and sexual satisfaction. The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of hormone-replacement therapy with either androgen or oestrogen in women with 46,XY karyotype and CAIS after gonadectomy.
New NR5A1 mutations and phenotypic variations of gonadal dysgenesis
