Why Continuing Professional Development is Key For Financial Servic...
People often see Continuing Professional Development as a way to get more from their employees. But what they often overlook is how important it is to employee retention. One study in particular found that professional development seems to be an issue dear to the heart of millennial workers specifically.

Fintech - Regtech funding , the forest and the trees
In our role as a financial technology broker, we find ourselves right in the middle of the fintech and regtech eco-system. The financial and, with some delay, the insurance world is changing at the speed of light, heavily driven by seemingly two conflicting forces : the enforcement of a fair and open level playing field for all sorts of financial transactions (compliance) and the digitally spoiled end-customer looking for convenience-at-no-cost (digitalization).

A number of the larger Insurers are now setting up “innovation labs” with the view to assisting entrepreneurial activity so that they can have a front row seat view of the innovation in the sector.
The Altfinance and Fintech Explosion
Amazing! In the same day I read that card payment processor Stripe raises $80m of investment at a valuation of $1.75 Billion and that the Royal Bank of Scotland is cutting 20,000 jobs. Stripe.com is a card payment processing company started by two Irish brothers in their early 20’s, now relocated to silicon valley. The company makes it really easy for businesses to accept card payment online and is challenging PayPal in this space.
