4.2.1 Classification performance on EMDS-6. The accuracy and loss curves of HTEM on EMDS-6 are shown in Fig 4. In Tables 3 and 4, we also evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed HTEM models in comparison to state-of-the-art classification models, including transformer-based models (ViT, DeiT, T2T-ViT, and BotNet) and representative CNN-based models (Xception, ResNet18, ResNet34, MobileNetV2, Googlenet, Densenet121, Densenet169, and VGG11).
