Autosomal recessive bestrophinopathy (ARB) is a rare BEST1-associated retinopathy characterised by bilateral yellow subretinal deposits, fundus autofluorescence abnormalities, and subretinal or intraretinal fluid [1]. Considerable phenotypic variability has been reported, including among individuals carrying the same or similar variants [2]. ARB may resemble Best vitelliform macular dystrophy (Best disease) and other inherited or acquired maculopathies.
