INTRODUCTION Non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHL) are a heterogeneous group of B- and T-cell malignancies with diverse molecular features.1 Prognosis varies across subtypes and is influenced by tumour biology, host factors and treatment response.2-6 While many of these factors have been incorporated into evolving risk stratification tools, most do not include germline and environmental factors.
Characteristics and outcomes of incidentally diagnosed diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma and implications for cancer screening
Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) subtype in the world and most cases present with stages III/IV disease.1-3 These patients usually palpate a mass, develop pain, or have abnormal blood tests at the time of a routine exam leading to imaging, biopsy, and the diagnosis.

PURPOSE Exclusion of patients needing urgent treatment or requiring novel biomarkers before enrollment has impacted the ability to enroll real-world patients in frontline trials of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). The impact of baseline organ function–based eligibility criteria on this effect and clinical trial exclusion is less well-understood.

Thyroid hormone treatment among pregnant women with subclinical hypothyroidism: US national assessment
Conclusion Thyroid hormone treatment was associated with decreased risk of pregnancy loss among women with subclinical hypothyroidism, especially those with pre-treatment TSH concentrations of 4.1-10 mIU/L. However, the increased risk of other pregnancy related adverse outcomes calls for additional studies evaluating the safety of thyroid hormone treatment in this patient population.
