Twoflower from Sir Terry Pratchett's novels. Even though he is noted to be a tourist and insurance salesman, he definitely has journalist tendencies.

Why did you become a journalist?
When I was 13 I was awarded a prestigious opportunity to spend time at the Poynter Institute. This incredible moment was earned through creative stories I had written as a school project, when my English teacher submitted my writing to the Institute. From that moment, I knew I had a special talent and have enjoyed writing ever since.
