What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use a multitude og online resources such as WordPress, Indesign, Tumblr and photoshop in my day to day work.
Who do you wish followed you?
Hunter s Thomson and Lester Bangs. They are incredible writers.
Why did you become a journalist?
I became a Journalist because of my love of words and passion for music. Combined these attributes allowed me the opportunity to explore the music industry through the eyes of the media and artists, and communicate my learnings with the general public. Jourmalism combines my love of art, music, fashion and poetry to form a strong career that can push me into the relevant place to pursue these passions.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Currently i am working with Bimm life (soon to be Brighton life) magazine and The Argus, contributing to the new musicians section of the magazine.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My column on Phobias is probably my favourite work as it is an incredibly important topic that hasn't seen enough attention yet. I hope to bring this to the mainstream and for the issues surrounding phobias to be addressed.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
It doesn't matter how much experience you have, go out there, do your job with passion and love and you'll flourish.
What's your favorite drink?
Appetiser, because it's sweet and bubbly.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Pursuing my songwriting career or attending Gigs.
