What was your first job as a journalist?
I started off with official statements before venturing into full-blown interviews and press conferences.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
No but I would like to.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Mostly WordPress and Microsoft Word, but I have also used several other applications previously and I am always open to learning more.
Why did you become a journalist?
It was a moment of opportunity. I was working as a copy editor when I was invited to work as a journalist too, and found that I enjoyed it.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
My high school did not have a newspaper but I was an active fan-fiction writer under a pen name at the time.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
An individual wanted me to write a press release about a recording artist receiving a tiny number of listeners on SoundCloud.
