I am a bilingual journalist with a Master in International Relations from IE University. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, I currently live in Detroit, MI, where I work as a freelance writer for various Latin American news websites.
I took my first steps as a journalist at Marnews, a magazine specialized in the coverage of the Latin America's shipping Industry. There I learned that two powerful forces are constantly moving the World: Water and Money.
From there I moved to GP Magazine, a luxury goods publication that taught me to be observant of the way artistic expressions beatified our surroundings.
Finally, I earned my fearless reporter badge by covering the political beat for the Venezuelan daily El Universal, under the government of Hugo Chávez.
What I like best is the written word, and what I absolutely despise are journalist who remain impartial in the face of Authoritarianism.
