working with an insurance company
This post was contributed by a community member. I had some time to do some research in the insurance industry lately. What I found was how badly women were treated, and how quickly women were fired. I took the state insurance test around mid-December, and went into training during the Christmas break.
How did Vader know that Obi-Wan was helping Luke?
As DVK suggested in point 2, the inference is fairly strong when you consider the entire progression of the storyline of ANH and TESB up to that point.
i = i++; is undefined. Is i = foo(i++) also undefined?
What would the current ISO C++ standard specify for this case? Except where noted, evaluations of operands of individual operators and of subexpressions of individual expressions are unsequenced. If a side effect on a scalar object is unsequenced relative to either another side effect on the same scalar object or a value computation using the value of the same scalar object, and they are not potentially concurrent (1.10), the behavior is undefined.
Is C++'s default copy-constructor inherently unsafe? Are iterators fundamentally unsafe too?
I used to think C++'s object model is very robust when best practices are followed. Just a few minutes ago, though, I had a realization that I hadn't had before. I have written code like this. And until today, I hadn't seen a problem with it.
Confusing sizeof(char) by ISO/IEC in different character set encoding like UTF-16
Yes, there are a number of serious conflicts and problems with the C++ conflation of rôles for , but also the question conflates a few things. So a simple direct answer would be like answering “yes”, “no” or “don’t know” to the question “have you stopped beating your wife?”. The only direct answer is the buddhist “mu”, unasking the question. So let's therefore start with a look at the facts. The number of bits per is given by the implementation defined from the header.
What is this INSANE space character??? (google chrome)
This is driving me absolutely, !&&%&$ insane... it defies everything that I can think of. THIS character right here... In between these quotes... open google chrome and inspect. You will see its a ... normal right? Now right click and actually view the source of this stack overflow page. It's a regular space... (also, the character I copied was an actual space). I could understand if it's some kind of rich text editor or something, but in the raw html source is a regular space, so what gives?
Is it possible to create an app which can run between an ios mobile platform, and a windows desktop platform, without using a web interface?
Hi i am learning java at the moment, specifically threading and networking which i have found to be very useful in improving my programming skills. i have a java program which consists of a server and a client using sockets. the server attaches a socket to each thread using start() method, and clients can write text which is echoed back by the server.
