Why did you become a journalist?
The US hospital system is rarely assessed as an industry. It's capital intensive, complicated, and regulated, yet still very fragmented.

Difficult questions surrounding the local nature of hospital care.

"I've got 25 minutes to print. Give me a sensational sound-bite on a complicated, multi-faceted issue."
