Rich Bellis’s Biography

I'm a journalist, editor and content strategist focusing on sustainability, particularly in the food and agriculture system. My background in business and economic journalism includes senior-level staff roles at NBC News and the Wall Street Journal in New York. I've directly managed teams of reporters and producers, assigned and edited broadcast correspondents and previously led Fast Company magazine's contributor and Op-Ed program. I'm currently based in the Netherlands, where I'm completing a master's degree in environmental resource management at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, with thesis research on the business models and upscaling of saline agriculture.
