What was your first job as a journalist?
I had my own short-lived travel blog about a decade ago. But my first "real" writing job was doing features for TopSpeed, a Valnet brand.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes! When I was in elementary school, my class was required to take typing class on an actual typewriter.
What's your favorite social network?
I'm pretty much addicted to scanning Facebook Marketplace for great deals on cars and motorcycles that I don't need.
Why did you become a journalist?
I was totally burned out and stressed by my last job in commercial construction management and needed a new career path.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I love doing outdoor activities in my gorgeous home state of Colorado. When not working, I can usually be found hiking, camping, or skiing.
