Richard Walinsky’s Biography

Richard "Rich" Walinsky is a dedicated business loan broker with Biz Capital LLC, specializing in small business lending and personal credit solutions. He assists businesses nationwide in securing funding, offering financial products such as short-term and long-term loans, SBA loans, lines of credit (LOC), equipment financing, working capital, start-up funding, and merchant cash advances. His primary goal is to help business owners identify and secure financing products that best align with their unique needs and aspirations.

With Biz Capital LLC, Rich provides business owners with a comprehensive suite of financing options. He recognizes the challenges many businesses face with traditional bank loans—such as lengthy application processes and high rejection rates—and offers an alternative path. Companies can access tailored funding solutions through Biz Capital in as little as 48 to 72 hours. This streamlined approach empowers business owners to focus on their growth and operational goals without delays or obstacles.

Rich offers financing solutions that cater to a wide range of business needs. For example, businesses can finance up to 100% of their equipment costs, often with no required down payment. SBA-backed loans provide competitive rates and terms, making them an appealing option for eligible borrowers. Working capital loans support daily operations, ensuring businesses can manage expenses effectively. A line of credit agreement allows clients to borrow as needed within a specified limit, providing flexibility for unexpected financial demands. With access to multiple lending partners, he negotiates favorable rates and terms on behalf of his clients, ensuring they receive the best possible funding options.

In addition to his work with Biz Capital LLC, Rich has an extensive background as a franchise consultant. Since 2009, he has worked with Franchise Traders, assisting prospective franchisees in identifying opportunities that align with their interests and goals. His responsibilities have included lead generation, prospect qualification, and connecting clients with appropriate franchise groups. He has also been recognized for his achievements, earning the title of Broker of the Year in 2010 from the Franchise Brokers Association (FBA). He holds certifications as a Certified Franchise Broker (CFB) and Certified Franchise Mentor (CFM).

Throughout his career, Rich has collaborated with several franchise brands, serving as an Outsourced Franchise Director for companies such as Elements Fitness for Women, Digikids, and Interpreters Unlimited. In these roles, he managed the early stages of franchise development, from lead generation to franchise agreement execution. His expertise in franchise consulting has helped numerous entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of franchising and achieve their business goals.

Rich’s professional journey has also included roles in sales and operations that have strengthened his understanding of business funding requirements. As Vice President of Business Development and Sales at IRA Rollover Solutions, he assisted clients using retirement funds to finance entrepreneurial ventures, particularly franchise start-ups. He also worked as a Senior Sales Consultant at Benetrends Financial, helping small business owners and start-ups utilize retirement savings for growth and expansion.

Before his career in financial services, Rich was a business owner. He operated Jake & Max's Delicatessen and Bain's Deli in Philadelphia, where he managed all aspects of the businesses, including staffing, inventory, and operational planning. His hands-on experience as an entrepreneur has given him a deep appreciation for small business owners' challenges and opportunities, further informing his approach to client support.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Rich is committed to giving back to the community. He donates to several charitable organizations, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), now known as Breakthrough T1D, a cause close to him as he has lived with diabetes for over three decades. Other organizations he supports include Shriners Children, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), The Salvation Army, the American Red Cross, Philabundance Food Bank, Make-A-Wish Foundation, PETA, ASPCA, PSPCA, and the Humane Society International. Through his philanthropic contributions, he aims to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

Born in Philadelphia, Rich attended Syracuse University in New York. He is married, has two sons, and resides in Holland, Pennsylvania. He is disciplined in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, running daily, and adhering to a strict diet to manage his diabetes. He also enjoys following the stock market and staying informed about financial trends.
