What does it mean to be a journalist?
Being a journalist means telling the stories that will help inform and advance a community. We tell stories that would otherwise go untold.

Why did you become a journalist?
To meet cool people and tell cool stories...simple as that.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
My high school was so small it didn't have a newspaper. However, at my college newspaper, I'm a news editor and I write frequently.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I'm most proud of my feature for The Gonzaga Bulletin about Joshua Shank, a music professor at Gonzaga University.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Work hard. Treat every story like it's the most important piece you've ever written. Take stories that make you uncomfortable.

Out chasing a story. Exploring and traveling with my friends. Keeping up with the latest movies, tv shows and other popular trends.

News is just boring and dry and no one wants to read it.
