What was your first job as a journalist?
Photographer for the Dallas Observer in 2009. One of my 1st assignments was shooting a performance by a Kiss tribute band at a strip club.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes it was electronic...I can't remember the circumstances as to why that happened though.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Sloan Sabbith from the Newsroom played by Olivia Munn and Zoe Barnes from House Of Cards played by Kate Mara.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Body: Canon 5D, 6D, 80D. Lens: Canon 24-105, Tamron 17-50, Sigma 70-200 and Adobe Photoshop CC.
What's your favorite social network?
Instagram because photography is my primary craft so I'm more driven by images. Facebook is too toxic and I'm not very active on Twitter.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I wrote a story about the 25th Anniversary of Lizard Lounge for the Dallas Observer. It's one of the longest running venues in the world.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Anytime 24/7 I have inconsistent and irregular sleeping habits. Sleep is not overrated but I don't partake in it as often as I should.
