Rob McCormick

Rob McCormick initiated Avatara in 2005, driven by a vision to provide specialized, enterprise-level IT solutions to small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMBs) through a dedicated, secure, comprehensive in-house approach. His previous role was CEO of Savvis from 1999 to 2005, where he pioneered the first virtualized managed hosting platform. Under his leadership, Savvis underwent several strategic acquisitions and equity financings, saw considerable expansion, and achieved a landmark IPO, placing it among the top five largest tech IPOs of its time. Prior to his achievements at Savvis, Rob acted as COO at Bridge Information Systems, the parent company from which Savvis was derived in 2000.
