Flexible n-Channel Organic Transistors with Low Contact Resistance
TFTs on Silicon Substrates TFTs based on all three semiconductors (TAPP-Br 4 , N1100, and PhC 2 -BQQDI) were fabricated on silicon substrates, both in the top-contact and in the bottom-contact device architecture (see Figure 1 ). Figure 1 Figure 1.
Flexible n-Channel Organic Transistors with Low Contact Resistance
Introduction Click to copy section linkSection link copied! Thin-film transistors (TFTs) based on organic semiconductors can be manufactured at relatively low process temperatures, making it possible to fabricate them not only on rigid substrates, such as silicon or glass, but also on flexible polymeric substrates and fabrics. This enables wearable electronics, (1) sensors, (2) radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags, and flexible displays.
Dynamics and Conformational Stability of Chiral Bay‐Phenolate‐Substituted Twisted Octaazaperopyrenedioxides (OAPPDOs)
1 Introduction Perylene diimides (PDIs) are among the most extensively studied polycyclic hydrocarbons due to their combination of high photostability and high emission quantum yields as well as rich redox chemistry [1-4]. In addition, through peripheral modification of the aromatic core the packing in the solid state and morphology of PDI-derived materials has been shown to be readily controllable [4-13].
Bay-Substituted Octaazaperopyrenedioxides as Solid-State Emitters for Strong Light-Matter Coupling
Bay-Substituted Octaazaperopyrenedioxides as Solid-State Emitters for Strong Light-Matter Coupling Molecules based on octaazaperopyrenedioxide (OAPPDO) cores represent a new class of organic emitters with the ability to form amorphous films when processed from solution while retaining their emissive properties. Here, we report the synthesis of bay-functionalized OAPPDO derivatives with thio-substituents, which are structurally characterized by their twisted π-core.

Zipping up tetraazaperylene: synthesis of tetraazacoronenes via double coupling in the bay positions
Zipping up tetraazaperylene: synthesis of tetraazacoronenes via double coupling in the bay positions† Substituted tetraazacoronene fluorophores have been obtained selectively by double Suzuki–Miyaura cross coupling of symmetrically substituted 1,2-bis(pinacolatoboryl)alkenes with a bay-substituted octaazaperopyrenedioxide (OAPPDO).
Tetraazacoronenes and Their Dimers, Trimers and Tetramers
The synthesis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) has been the focus of extensive research due to their applications in organic electronics.1 In the context of tuning their electronic properties, the isosteric [CH→N] substitution of polycyclic aromatics provides a method to vary the electronic structure of the material while maintaining the molecular shape and rigidity of the π-system.2 Whereas perylene-based dyes, such as perylene-3,4 : 9,10-bis(dicarboximides) (PDIs) have been among...
