Errors associated with co‐names of medicines: The nomenclature of combination medicinal products
1 MAIN The names of medicines are chosen carefully. At a glance, each can ideally tell us something about the chemical or pharmacological nature of the medicine—although not always.
Author Correction: The senescent methylome and its relationship with cancer, ageing and germline genetic variation in humans - Genome Biology
Author Correction Open access Published: 10 June 2024 Genome Biology volume 25, Article number: 150 (2024) Cite this article The Original Article was published on 17 September 2015 Author Correction: Genome Biol 16, 194 (2015) https://doi.org/10.1186/s13059-015-0748-4 Following publication of the original article [1], the authors reported two errors in Fig. 1B and Fig. 2B. 1. The two EP + siGLO and DS + siGLO brightfield/β-gal images from Fig. 2A were accidentally duplicated in Fig. 1B.
Memory of Fictional Information: A Theoretical Framework
People encounter more than factual information in everyday life. As a matter of fact, people spend large portions of their time consuming mediated content, such as movies, novels, and video games. Pretense and role-playing, experienced directly without a medium, are also common elements in people’s lives. Such activities can involve fiction or fictional information. Thus, fiction permeates many situations, and its purpose is not only entertainment but also education and socialization.

The capacity of the honey bee to produce three phenotypically distinct organisms (two female castes; queens and sterile workers, and haploid male drones) from one genotype represents one of the most remarkable examples of developmental plasticity in any phylum. The queen–worker morphological and reproductive divide is environmentally controlled during post-embryonic development by differential feeding.
Ageing-associated DNA methylation dynamics are a molecular readout of lifespan variation among mammalian species
Here we have shown that ageing-associated DNA methylation is a dynamic correlate of lifespan among mammalian species and that these methylation dynamics are measuring cellular ageing as opposed to just chronological age. Crucially, our work shows that, in the context of different mammalian species, the rate of methylation dynamics at aDMPs predict lifespan. That is, aDMPs are more than just a measure of chronological age.
