A senior consultant with LPI Global Consultants, Robert Bulik, PhD, assists institutions with their adult medical education programs. Entities across Texas have received his guidance in curriculum and faculty development, grant writing, scholarship programs, and team-building activities. For 13 years, Robert Bulik has been on the faculty at the University of Texas Medical Branch, and he currently holds the title of professor emeritus at its Academy of Health Science Education.
Possessing an interest in many aspects of medical education, Robert Bulik has authored more than 50 pieces on the subject. The recipient of a BS in education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, an MA in education from the from United States International University, and a PhD in curriculum and instruction in adult education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he has played important roles on research teams that have investigated medical/societal problems in family medicine, as well as in conversations between doctors and patients.
Telemedicine represents another of Robert Bulik’s interests. The vice chair of the American Telemedicine Association's Human Factors Special Interest Group, Bulik has written on its integration into healthcare practices around the world and how it has changed the profession. Moreover, he has presented on the topic at international workshops and seminars.
