Robin Catalano’s Biography

Robin Catalano believes in the power of storytelling to connect communities and cultures. An experienced travel, arts, conservation/preservation, and food & beverage journalist, her work has appeared in the New York Times, National Geographic, Travel + Leisure, AFAR, BBC, Conde Nast Traveler, Smithsonian, Fodor's, Insider, Food & Wine, Albany Times Union, Food & Wine, and many more. Robin was selected as the summer 2020 Writer-in-Residence at Arrowhead, the historic home of Herman Melville, in Pittsfield, Mass. In 2022, she was a finalist for the IFTWA Excellence in Journalism Award. Last year, she won an SATW Lowell Thomas Award for environmental reporting.
