Robin Esrock’s Biography

Robin Esrock is an internationally recognized travel personality on TV, in print, on stage and online.  A former columnist for The Globe and Mail, MSN, Outpost and Vancouver Sun, his stories and photography have also appeared in over two dozen major publications including The Chicago Tribune, The Guardian, The Melbourne Age, South China Morning Post, and National Geographic Traveller.  Robin is the creator and co-host of Word Travels, a 40-part TV series syndicated on National Geographic and Travel Channel International worldwide in over 20 languages. He is the author of the smash bestseller The Great Canadian Bucket List,  as well as international bestsellers The Great Global Bucket List, The Great Australian Bucket List, and 75 Places to Take the Kids (before they don't want to go). Having visited over 120 countries on 7 continents, Robin has delivered inspiring keynotes at events around the country, and his TEDx travel talk has over one million views.   Based in Vancouver, he currently writes a column and is a Contributing Editor for Canadian Geographic, edits various travel blogs, freelances for various publications, and still finds time to whip up an impressive guacamole for his kids.
