Robin Horton’s Biography
Robin Horton is an award-winning and Webby-nominated New Orleans-based writer and blogger, who has written for a variety of brands and online publications including Trivago Magazine, Kellogg Garden Products, Fiskars, Fix.com, Burpee, Family Handyman, and Bobvila.com. An SME in all things home and garden, Robin also writes about sustainable living, design trends, and travel with a focus on garden tourism.
As publisher of Urban Gardens, she has earned the moniker “Coolspotter” for her ability to uncover unique ideas and finds.
Since her blog’s launch in 2009, Robin has traveled the world as a brand ambassador where she's visited the London Design Festival, Venice and Milan for Salone del Mobile, Frankfurt for Ambiente, and Paris for Maison et Objet. As a travel writer, she has worked with PR agencies, convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs), and destination marketing organizations (DMOs). Robin speaks pretty fluent French, very respectable Italian, and understands a decent amount of Catalan and a few Russian words she learned from her four-month stay in Moscow.
