Robin Rogers’s Biography
Robin is the illustrator/author of the children's picture book "Journey to the Never-Ending Sea," featuring the Pacific Northwest and published by Brolly Books of Melbourne. Robin is also the founder of Solaripedia.com, an online resource for green architecture and construction, especially using renewable energy and passive strategies. She was a member of the North American committees that developed a national standard for commercial green buildings and national model green home building guidelines. She was the first executive director of Seattle’s residential Built Green environmental building program, and launched and coordinated the Built Green Washington consortium. Robin became a LEED AP in May 2002 and holds a Master of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech where her thesis was focused on passive solar design and energy modeling.
