Packers Injuries in Loss to Vikings Create Concerns about Depth
The Green Bay Packers lost their opening game 23-7 at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings. Already without their star linemen, David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins, the Packers lost several key depth pieces to injury in Week One. While some may be able to return to the field in time for Green Bay’s Sunday Night matchup against the Chicago Bears, depth is all of a sudden a MAJOR concern at several key positions.
Aaron Rodgers Surprisingly Calm In Postgame Interview
The Packers took one of the chin today. Not much went right in a 23-7 loss to the Vikings. The execution especially on offense was not good. While Aaron Rodgers looked very frustrated on the field today, he was surprisingly calm in the postgame interview.
WATCH: Deflated Aaron Rodgers Had High Praise For Justin Jefferson
The Packers lost to the Vikings 23-7. A big part of that loss was the play of Justin Jefferson. The Packers secondary got torched allowing Jefferson to rack up 184 yards and 2 touchdowns. Stats Show Former Packers WRs Outshine Current Bunch Week 1 Original
Aaron Rodgers could have used any number of former Packers WRs Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers offense had a disastrous start to their 2022 campaign. The wide receivers were uniquely bad Sunday in the Packers’ 23-7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. One wonders at what point Rodgers first wanted to have one of his former Packers wide receivers back on the roster. Packers wide receivers had chances to make big plays but failed to execute.
Week 1: Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings Takeaways

Takeaway Number 1: Young Receivers Let Inexperience Show The number one takeaway is that the Packers receiving group is inexperienced. Their most experienced wide receiver is Allen Lazard. He missed Sunday’s game due to a foot injury.
Three Studs and Duds for the Packers in 23-7 Loss to Vikings Original
The Green Bay Packers have begun their 2022 season much like they started their 2017 one: with a blowout loss on the road. After the Vikings scored the game’s first touchdown, it was never really a close affair. Clearly, there is much to clean up before Green Bay takes on the Chicago Bears next Sunday night. On the bright side, this is only Week One and there are 16 more games left to play. With so many new players, especially on offense, a rough start probably should have been expected.
Green Bay Packers Star CB Dissented From Defensive Game Plan Original
The Green Bay Packers had a hard time containing Justin Jefferson Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson got the better of the Green Bay Packers Sunday. The two-time Pro Bowl receiver dominated the Packers’ defense, especially the secondary. Even with Jefferson’s reputation, watching the highly touted Packers defense struggle as poorly as they did with Jefferson was shocking. Jefferson scored two touchdowns in the first half to put the Packers in a major hole at halftime.
Brewers: Willy Adames Closing In On Franchise Record Held By Robin Yount Original
Home runs are a very exciting part of a baseball game. This year Brewers shortstop Willy Adames has gone yard 28 times. The franchise record for the highest amount of home runs in a single season by a shortstop is 29. Robin Yount accomplished this during his MVP 1982 season. With 21 games remaining in the regular season, Willy Adames is quickly closing in on Yount’s home run record. Make it 28 homers. All as a shortstop. One shy of tying Robin Yount’s single-season franchise record.
How can you NOT love Aaron Jones?
I’ve said for years that Aaron Jones getting the ball is the key to Packers wins. Make no mistake – Aaron Rodgers is the MVP and the #1 reason for the Packers’ NFC North dominance the last 15 years and Davante Adams is the best wide receiver in the NFL. But Jones is the guy that makes the offense DYNAMIC. After the Monday Night Football win over the Detroit Lions, I feel like it’s necessary to reiterate how important he is to the Packers and how much I LOVE watching him play. Versatility is KEY.
