What is a fictional journalist? Oh, unless you're talking about Breitbart. They are fictional, though not really journalists.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means being told you're wrong -- daily -- by people who have no background in the subject.

I don't see many hashtags. Not on Twitter much.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I'm a blogger and people rarely ask me to publish their stories.

My brain and the Internet.

I spend very little time with social networks, but I may spend a few minutes -- very few -- a week with Twitter and Facebook

Economists, economics reporters, politicians, and billionaires who could finance a program to spread the truth about our economy
Why did you become a journalist?
Because I can't stand the ongoing BS being pumped into America's brains by the rich.

What's the best pitch you ever got?
One of my former partners, whose business was in deep trouble, convinced me to step in and save him. I did, and it worked quite well.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
The guy who phones me every week to fix my computer. He barely can speak English and I don't need my computer fixed.

In bed. Then, on the tennis court

ScienceNews and New Scientist Magazines. Also, the Chicago Tribune. Also, Scientific American, and Discover Magazines

That it's easy and it's "like all the other blogs."
