How IPF has changed our lives

April 11, 2014, is the day that changed our lives completely. The day Ron was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) at the age of 53 years, and told that he had 3–5 years to live. Where do you go from there? It was like a bomb exploding in our lives. We had only recently got together in 2012, believing we had years stretched out ahead of us. But now, the love we had found was going to be cruelly snatched away from us in a relatively short space of time.
