I started my career as a reporter at Diario Súper, where I gained my first newsroom experience.

I did use a typewriter back in high school, but in my professional career I’ve always worked digitally.
How is social media changing news?
Social media is transforming news by providing real-time updates and direct engagement with audiences. It allows journalists to break stories faster, but it also challenges us to balance speed with accuracy and reliability.

I prefer X (formerly Twitter) because it allows me to stay updated with breaking news, connect with other journalists, and follow real-time trends.
Why did you become a journalist?
I became a journalist because I wanted to tell the stories of those who couldn’t. Over time, I realized journalism goes even further, and I’m fascinated by how far it can reach.

I would tell aspiring journalists to stay curious, ask questions fearlessly, and always prioritize accuracy. Build a strong foundation in reporting and writing, and be open to learning from every experience.

The best time to pitch me is during regular business hours, preferably in the morning.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
The best pitch I ever received came from a source who offered a unique angle on the Barcelona SC crisis. It was well-documented and helped me publish a detailed story about the club’s financial deficit.

My favorite drink is water — simple and refreshing.
