Voor veel mensen ligt de coronaperiode inmiddels ver achter ons. De voorspelling (die toen leefde) dat de pandemie ons leven voorgoed zou veranderen is niet uitgekomen. We zijn weer handen gaan schudden, we reizen weer evenveel als voorheen en we halen ook nog steeds massaal de griepprik. Er zijn ook wel enkele blijvende veranderingen: we werken bijvoorbeeld meer thuis dan voor de pandemie. Voor mij zijn de pandemie en de gevolgen ervan echter nog springlevend.

The test‐negative design: Opportunities, limitations and biases
Abstract The purpose of this paper is to investigate how to interpret the outcome of a test-negative design study. We does so by systematically reviewing the properties of the design in relation to its potential applications. We first argue that the application of the design does not depend on certain assumptions (as is sometimes articulated in the literature), which may open new opportunities for using the design. Then, we relate a number of limitations of the design.
