What does it mean to be a journalist?
You can change the world or at least one person's life. You can contribute to culture and history and be a part of something bigger.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Email with a detailed description on the piece and who the writer is as a voice
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
My own noggin, a pen and paper and then google docs

Why did you become a journalist?
It just eased into my life and voice so easily and felt right
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I was part of my university's writing society where I designed the call for papers and wrote a piece on outdated media from the 2000s.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Either my Marilyn Monroe piece or my dissertation on separating art from the artist
