Adopted by the Texas Senate during the 89th Texas Legislature in recognition of Rosser Newton's contribution to preserving and expanding knowledge of Texas history through his biography Richard Coke: Texan. Introduced by Senator Hall, the resolution was adopted without objection, with every member of the Senate joining as a co-author.
