I write news stories, factchecks and explainers both in written and video format. I also worked as a producer for VERA Files’ “What The F?!” and "Tres from Tress" podcasts and gained substantial experience in live and documentary production.
I initially covered the environment, agriculture, labor, and infrastructure sectors before being reassigned to cover the Office of the Vice President, education, national defense, foreign affairs and the peace process.
In 2024, I co-wrote a two-part investigative story on the Panay-Guimaras-Negros bridge under Earth Journalism Network’s “Media Action on Sustainable Infrastructure in the Philippines."
In 2023, I participated in a fellowship project aiming to enhance Philippine media’s capability to cover the South China Sea (SCS) issue. Supported by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives, I co-produced in-depth multimedia reports on the impact of the SCS dispute on the marine ecosystem as well as on the fisherfolk community of Zambales.
During my undergraduate years at the University of the Philippines (UP), I was actively involved in the UP Journalism Club's projects to improve media literacy and combat disinformation. In my senior year, I volunteered to help cover the 2022 national elections for Rappler.
