Working as an unpaid intern for the San Francisco Bay Guardian.

Why did you become a journalist?
A personal tragedy involving a close friend of my family losing their life. Remembering this keeps me focussed and motivated.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No, but I co-founded and edited The Obiter, a magazine for the University's law school.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Earlier this year I published Petrol, Sweat and Whiskey, a longread about the end of the Australian car industry.
