Carvedilol is a drug for the treatment of congestive heart failure whose solubility in solvent and crystallization process are poorly understood. In this study, the solubilities of carvedilol in water, ethanol, acetone, tetrahydrofuran, methyl alcohol, ethyl acetate, (water + ethanol), (water + acetone), and (water + tetrahydrofuran) binary mixtures were measured in the temperature range from 278.15 to 313.15 K under atmospheric pressure by the gravimetric method.
