I have and it is very satisfying.
How is social media changing news?
Just like any new tool or technology, there will be an initial disruption before the industry catches up. Adapt and overcome.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
A casual tone and a lot of enthusiasm. If you're not excited for the pitch then who else is going to be? Radiate positivity!

Reddit and the other main stream ones.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I love taking on projects that help veterans even if it does not financially benefit me. We leave no one behind.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Find your voice first, your audience will find you after.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Anytime! I often have a backlog of requests so do not hesitate to send a follow up too!
What's the best pitch you ever got?
I love interviews and to be able to pick the brains of the smartest people in the industry right now. Writing product or media reviews too.

I used to moonlight as a bar tender. What's YOUR favorite drink?
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Vanquishing my family at every video game they decide to challenge me in. We're very competitive and I'm banned from Mario Kart in my home.
