To improve access to experimental adult stem cell therapies for patients in the region, Governor Sam Brownback and the Kansas legislature passed a state bill in 2013 that enabled the establishment of the Midwest Stem Cell Therapy Center (MSCTC). This highly laudable and truly visionary act was primarily directed at promoting therapy of patients with adult stem cells.
