Sunday Post #552 Winter Winds…..
Sunday Post #552 Winter Winds….. December 4th, 2022 Kimberly Sunday Post 39 Comments 4th Dec I managed eleven books/audios for the Ho-Ho-Ho readathon. I hope everyone who took part had a wonderful time. For the month of November, I read/listened to 18 books. As of November 30th, I am 186/200 for Goodreads & 109 for the Audiobook Challenge. I am hoping I hit my goals in December. I am still dealing with this head cold funk, and will probably concede and go see the doctor this week.
The Red Slippers - #MFRWHooks
Cosette and Avery’s romance is so sweet and touching... I felt transported to another time and place while reading this story. I enjoyed the symbolism of the red slippers and the role it played in the story. It will take magic for Cosette to believe in her abilities. Is Avery the only one who can conjure the spell? Cosette Binet has been in the service to Queen Marie of France, since she was a young girl.

Bringing My Story to Life - Day 3
Day 3 I found a wonderful support community for this challenge on Facebook. Most of the people who posted walked/hiked and had some pretty impressive pictures. They inspired me. Mine pictures may not be of the Pennine Way. There more local. My pictures are from Teaneck, NJ, a small town across the Hudson River, about 7 miles west of NYC. My video is a small part of my walk through the park at the end of my street. On the return trip I noticed my neighbor across the street from me had a new resident...
Bringing my Story to Life
I’m writing a short story for a Christmas box set. My story is The Duke’s Lost Love. It is a cross-over story to my series, The Ladies of Sommer-by-the-Sea. The venue for these stories is in the village of Sommer-by-the-Sea not far from Newcastle. I wanted my hero and heroine isolated and forced to work together. Christmas. Snow. Snowstorm. Avalanche. I was definitely on to something. Now all I had to do was find mountains. I was in luck. I found Pennine Way.

Knight of Runes by Ruth A. Casie
Knight of Runes is the first book in the Druid Knights series. As this was my first-time reading Ruth Casie, I knew little of what to expect. However, I dived in, hoping for the best. It did not disappoint. Knight of Runes plunged me into an exciting and imaginative world of time travel, rich in mystery, romance, action and magic. I read this book as part of the COYER community buddy read with Sophia Rose over at Delighted Reader. We both had a wonderful time with this title.
